These are some of the many romantic impressions during our walks by the lake in and around the lake-side village of Brissago -so many beautiful views, so they do not need much explaining – we just share them with you here. For us they are unique memories.

Some of our magnificent excursions into the high valleys around the lago: The Maggia Valley, the Maggia and the Sambuca water supply dams with their retaining walls, the little high up idyllic village Sonogno, the Verzasza Valley, the Lavertezzo Valley, the Centovalli, the ancient Welshmen museum of village Bosco Gurin, and the very tight and dangerous gorge Via Mala.

On the way home we stopped in the small Skiing and Wellness Resort Andeer, and here are just some views I could not resist…..
